NEW Leicester ace Ryan Douglas saw his hopes of an Australian Championship podium place crushed in round three.
The flyin’ Lion had made an excellent start to the five round series with 16 points from the opening two meetings.
But he was left floundering in the race for the rostrum with just three points at Undera Park last night. There are two rounds remaining in New South Wales.
